- As part of our commitment to current environmental issues we are undertaking an initiative with one of our tool manufacturing partners to offer monetary value in return for recycling spent carbide tooling.
Whilst climate change is a headline focus for society globally there are also concerns with protecting our natural resources as we satisfy our current consumption which is set to increase in the future. Alloy elements such as Tungsten, Vanadium, Cobalt and Molybdenum which are widely used for tooling items are valuable assets which are not inexhaustible.
Alternative materials are being researched and developed constantly as a way to make further improvements, but in the meantime there is a wealth of natural resource that is deemed as spent that could be returned for recycling.
